Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse on our 5 West Acute Care Neuroscience unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Assess and address the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and their families, providing individualized support and guidance.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
