Role Summary:
The Distribution Specialist plays a vital role within the Supply Chain Operations team, tasked with overseeing and ensuring the maintenance of supplies and patient care equipment.

Your responsibilities will include addressing and fulfilling requests and inquiries, directly impacting the quality of health care experiences for MultiCare patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify materials and documentation against purchase orders and input purchase order receipts.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing personnel to resolve any discrepancies related to purchase orders or receipts.
  • Package and process supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities, coordinating shipping as necessary.
  • Maintain stock supplies within the designated Distribution Storeroom location.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service, or Inventory Control preferred (or a combination of knowledge and education that demonstrates the qualifications to perform the duties of the position).

Experience with computer input/keyboard tasks is desired, along with familiarity with computerized Materials Management systems.

Experience using electronic signature software is preferred, as well as basic proficiency in PC business applications, including MS Word and Excel.

Compensation and Benefits:

As required by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.14 USD.
