Job Responsibilities

As a Food Service Worker at Acelero Learning, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of food services in a Head Start/Early Head Start Program serving children ages 0-5. This includes:

  • Preparing attractive, USDA-approved meals
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation according to Health Department ordinances
  • Managing food stocks, kitchen supplies, and food service records

You will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting in delivery of food to classrooms and dirty dishes from the classroom
  • Cleaning dishes and cooking equipment using sanitary washing procedures
  • Checking food deliveries for accuracy and quality
  • Storing food and supplies properly
