Job Title: Nurse II Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse II Supervisor to oversee nursing activities and ensure appropriate nursing staff coverage during assigned shifts. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating nursing services, responding to emergency situations, and providing treatment to HHS employees injured in the course of their employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee nursing activities, ensuring appropriate nursing staff coverage during assigned shifts.
  • Respond to emergency situations, providing assessment and ensuring safety and care of individuals and staff.
  • Provide treatment to HHS employees injured in the course of their employment.
  • Perform complex nursing work, including comprehensive physical assessments and care interventions.
  • Develop and present information for inservice training or staff development, as assigned.
  • Communicate with other disciplines, families, and staff members to ensure optimal care.
  • Maintain a professional, harmonious working relationship with facility employees and outside agency employees.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of nursing techniques, standards, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of health care laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of medical diagnoses and procedures.
  • Knowledge of accepted medical treatment patterns.
  • Knowledge of community health and nursing care principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Skills in the use of computer/software and an electronic health record system.
  • Exceptional physical assessment skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
