Job Summary:
The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a key member of the nursing team, the RN Supervisor will assist in analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating processes and programs to enhance the services provided by the nursing department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an environment that supports continuous improvement of operational, financial, and clinical components. This includes participating in the development and implementation of service line strategic business plans and collaborating with other clinical and ancillary departments to meet organizational and department-specific goals.

The RN Supervisor will assume primary responsibility for the daily operations of a nursing department on a 24-hour basis, ensuring that services meet established quality and productivity standards.


CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering a range of diagnostic and surgical specialty services in cardiac, cancer, and stroke care.

The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, staffed with physicians and nurses specially trained in emergency services. The Pavilion and North Tower house a state-of-the-art emergency department, ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, and surgical suites.

A teaching facility in affiliation with the Texas A&M University System Health and Science Center College of Medicine, CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline is accredited by The Joint Commission and offers a range of educational programs and research opportunities.


Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families.

• Ensure consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization.

• Monitor patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care.

• Oversee the performance of teams; identify and address staff training and development needs.


Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required for Magnet facilities, otherwise preferred.

• 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.

• Previous Lead or Supervisor experience overseeing work of assigned units, preferred.

• Previous healthcare management experience preferred.

• BLS required.

RN License in state of employment or compact.
