Operational Energy Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

We're seeking a seasoned expert to drive energy resilience and efficiency in defense missions. As an Operational Energy Analyst, you'll leverage your consulting, analytical, and strategic expertise to support the Department of Defense's (DoD) operational energy programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide energy-related policy and governance for programs and activities that enable resilient, efficient, clean, and cyber-secure energy for Joint forces, weapon systems, and military missions.
  • Support the DoD's full portfolio of operational energy programs, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating complex systems, policies, and processes.
  • Develop and cultivate partnerships to advance organizational priorities and missions, ensuring energy resilience and efficiency.
  • Produce analytical products, guidance, and tools to support the management of operational energy resilience programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience with operational energy analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience with OSD, Service staff, or Joint Staff.
  • Experience with DoD bulk fuels, fuel storage, and distribution to support the management of the global fuel laydown for all Combatant Command areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
