Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our team at Naval Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the F-5N aircraft and engines, developing solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems, and ensuring repairs are compliant with approved naval aviation maintenance policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems
  • Assist maintenance in troubleshooting/repair of aircraft control systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and pressurization systems
  • Repair/troubleshoot aircraft engines
  • Review current technical maintenance manuals for accuracy and submit red-line changes to correct publication deficiencies
  • Present to management or team
  • Perform engineering investigations of failed aircraft components and systems
  • Provide disposition for obsolete aircraft system components
  • Determine criticality of aircraft system components by performing failure mode effects and criticality analysis
  • Review drawings/blueprints, give material estimates, and time required for repairs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering required
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience supporting aerospace efforts/platforms
  • Secret Clearance required, must be a U.S. citizen
