Aerospace Manufacturing Assembler/Tester Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Manufacturing Assembler/Tester to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of complex products to meet customer quality and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test complex products using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and mechanical/electronic tools.
  • Record test results on data forms using electrical equipment and flow measurement devices.
  • Identify malfunctions and rework as instructed.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and test specifications.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications.
  • Participate in lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members.
  • Ensure a safe and FOD-free work environment.
Requirements:
  • Two or more years' experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment or mechanical assembly experience.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and computer skills.
  • Possess strong mechanical reasoning and interpersonal communication skills.
