Job Description

Serves as a key member of the Integrated Enrollment Services team, providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the community at the Enrollment Services Welcome Center.

  • Coordinates services for walk-in customers and provides advanced support for Undergraduate Admissions, Scholarships & Financial Aid, Student Business Services, and the Office of the University Registrar.
  • Hires, trains, and supervises student staff; develops staffing schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service.
  • Represents the university with high visibility and interaction, projecting the primary university image to the public and often serving as the first point of contact for visitors.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with students, internal departments, and external entities to resolve complex customer issues and improve services.
  • Prepares reports to analyze and proactively improve services and training; develops innovative strategies to address performance gaps.
  • Participates in professional development activities and creates training materials for staff and new employees.
  • Utilizes advanced system software to troubleshoot customer problems and log information for reporting purposes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience or equivalent education and experience combination.
  • Knowledge of higher education operations and customer service principles.
  • Service leadership skills, including mutual respect, active listening, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
