Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and career-focused Senior Systems Administrator to support our operations. This role is essential in delivering engineering and IT services to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Oversee IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Provide assistance to IT systems, including daily operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for various devices.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
  • Configure and manage Windows operating systems, including software installation.
  • Administer and secure network switching and routing devices.
  • Maintain network security through effective access controls and path management.
  • Implement and troubleshoot IT systems effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 10 years of relevant experience
    • OR 15 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient in:
    • Implementing and troubleshooting IT systems.
    • Daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
    • Providing Tier 2 problem identification and resolution.
    • Optimizing system operations and resource utilization.
    • Configuring and managing Windows operating systems.
    • Enhancing operating systems for improved reliability and performance.
    • Delivering detailed analysis and feedback to clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with:
    • Windows Operating Systems (Server & Desktop)
    • Exchange / Active Directory
    • Basic network administration (Cisco routers/switches)
    • Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
    • Software development environments
    • Agile methodologies

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
