Senior Systems Engineer

Location:
Annapolis Junction, MD.

Position Summary:
We are in search of a Senior Systems Engineer to bolster our initiatives in Maryland. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, as our projects encompass a wide array of technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate user requirements, operational concepts, and overarching system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.
  • Lead the analysis of system requirements and oversee design and development processes.
  • Assist users in articulating requirements, propose alternative strategies, and conduct feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Incorporate new strategies, designs, and systems into existing operations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Develop system architecture and design documentation.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and integration/test plans.
  • Engage with government representatives regarding technical considerations and associated challenges.
  • Ensure the technical integrity of all work performed and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Facilitate communication with program personnel, government officials, and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required.
  • Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering initiatives is essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required for Clearance).
