Job Title: Warehouse Manager

At NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of finished goods from receiving to production and shipment to the end customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise warehouse staff in daily activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with service department, sales, and production managers to ensure timely turnaround of finished parts.
  • Establish inventory controls to ensure accuracy of finished goods material flow to production.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maximize inventory security and minimize loss.
  • Coordinate production supply chain procedures and practices to ensure efficient operation and continuous improvement.
  • Arrange for disposal of trash, metal recycling, and surplus materials.
  • Ensure receivers check all daily incoming shipments for vendors and shippers check all daily shipments to customers.
  • File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
  • Manage finished part kitting activities in the warehouse and ensure kits are provided in a timely manner.
  • Expedite shipments and handle customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Initiate and follow through on plans, programs, and objectives to meet overall company goals.
  • Lead regular departmental meetings and address performance improvement plans.
  • Support activities between Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree preferred or High School education with equivalent experience.
  • Seven years' related experience in the manufacturing industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Business operational shrewdness, good judgment, planning, communicating orally and in writing, business knowledge, and expertise within areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain a positive corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, integrity, and a constructive work environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP business systems software required for the specific area of responsibility.
  • Ability to use a keyboard and 10-key by touch.
