About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at VSR Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in assembling mechanical components and fabricated parts for our high-security locks and custom products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow technical documentation to accurately assemble mechanical components and fabricated products.
  • Perform assembly tasks with experience and proficiency at most mechanical assembly and sub-assembly stations.
  • Conduct calibration tests on parts and mechanisms for tolerance levels and quality, identifying failed quality and out-of-tolerance units, and repairing as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, performing quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Assist in training new assemblers and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience needed; we provide on-the-job training.
  • Ability to use tools, such as drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attendance and a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
