Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at VSR Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and fabricated parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Quality Control: Read, interpret, and follow technical documentation such as build guides, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble mechanical components and fabricated products.
- Assembly Tasks: Perform assembly tasks with experience and proficiency at most of the mechanical assembly and sub-assembly stations.
- Calibration and Testing: Performs calibration tests on parts and mechanisms for tolerance levels and quality; identifies failed quality and out of tolerance units, and repairs as necessary.
- Work Planning and Maintenance: Plans and performs work relying on experience and judgement along with guidance; maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Team Support: Assisting in other areas on the production floor as needed; assists in training new assemblers.
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: No experience needed, will train
- Skills: Ability in using tools (e.g. drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.); willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time.
