About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at VSR Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and fabricated parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow technical documentation, such as build guides, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble mechanical components and fabricated products.
  • Perform assembly tasks with experience and proficiency at most mechanical assembly and sub-assembly stations.
  • Conduct calibration tests on parts and mechanisms for tolerance levels and quality, identifying failed quality and out-of-tolerance units, and repairing as necessary.
  • Plan and perform work relying on experience and judgment, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Assist in training new assemblers and contribute to the development of a skilled and efficient production team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
  • Ability to use tools, such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attendance record and commitment to meeting production deadlines.

Working Conditions
