Job Title: Land Surveyor

KLJ is seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our survey group, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful execution of survey-related services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects and ensure proper practices and techniques are followed
  • Plan, organize, and manage project elements and multiple clients
  • Provide oral and written communication to project teams, clients, and the public
  • Coordinate and prioritize the work of field survey crews
  • Manage multiple project teams in the field
  • Ensure compliance with KLJ safety standards
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent survey field experience
  • PLS certification
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate motorized vehicles
Work Environment:

This position requires working 40+ hours per week with 95% of the time spent in the field and 5% in the office. The employee must be able to walk on uneven terrain up to ten miles per day and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
