Job Overview

As a Pastry Preparation Specialist at Sprinkles, you will play a vital role in the success of our bakery by expertly mixing various cupcake batters, frostings, and ice cream flavors. Your enthusiasm for working in a kitchen environment shines as you efficiently measure and combine ingredients to precise specifications. Expect to begin your shift during the early morning hours, between Midnight and 4am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company and embody the Sprinkles culture.
  • Learn and demonstrate proper procedures as instructed by trainers and managers.
  • Memorize and apply recipes, ensuring correct techniques in mixing, pouring, and storing batters and frostings.
  • Assist with dishwashing, baking, and cooling tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver the Sprinkles experience.
  • Prepare batters and frostings for distribution to other locations as necessary.
  • Maintain a steady work pace to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Participate in cleaning duties as outlined in checklists.
  • Receive deliveries and packages as needed.
  • Report to work as scheduled and fulfill shift requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for the Sprinkles brand and products.
  • Culinary or pastry certification is preferred, or at least one year of kitchen experience.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule starting between Midnight and 4am.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a consistent pace.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds, handling cupcake trays, frostings, and boxed items.
  • Physical ability to navigate the bakery environment, including bending and reaching.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain stationary for up to 60% of the shift.
