Job Title: Senior Indirect Tax AccountantJob Summary

DISH, a leading provider of connectivity solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Indirect Tax Accountant to join its team. As a key member of the Financial organization, this individual will play a vital role in supporting the company's game-changing ideas with creative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Indirect/Telecom Tax audits, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring timely responses to audit notices and document requests.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of company tax planning initiatives, identifying tax savings and preparing refund claims.
  • Review current taxability setups, providing recommended changes as needed, and ensuring proper tax treatment for company purchasing activity.
  • Process and document customer tax exemption requests, responding to customer inquiries regarding taxes charged.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the Tax Department, operating divisions, corporate accounting, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of experience dealing with Indirect tax audits in a Multi-State environment, with Telecom experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
