Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage construction project field operations, providing leadership to personnel and effectively managing company resources, including equipment and materials.
- Ensure adherence to Russo Corporation's policies, procedures, and project priorities.
- Supervise and coordinate construction crews, typically ranging from 8 to 25 members, which may include a combination of laborers and specialized trade workers.
- Strategically plan and organize work activities on-site, coordinating all field operations related to project teams, machinery, and supplies.
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with the overall schedule and contractual obligations.
- Interpret blueprints, construction timelines, and other essential project management documents, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project specifications.
- Authorize project work schedules, oversee timekeeping, and manage material deliveries.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain necessary documentation for project compliance.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Uphold a commitment to safety, ensuring that all Russo employees and contractors comply with EEO and safety standards.
- Participate in mandatory safety training and conduct reviews of policies and protocols at both employee and project levels.

Additional Duties:
- Responsibilities may also include light administrative tasks, safety inspections, and support to the General Superintendent.
- The individual in this role must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others, with any risks mitigated through reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing commercial or industrial construction crews is required.
- Preferred candidates will have over 10 years of experience in commercial or heavy civil construction.
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents, including contracts and specifications.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling, supervision, quality control, and management of civil construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices and methodologies.
- Familiarity with construction-related reports and workforce management capabilities.
- An OSHA 30 Hour Construction Card is mandatory.
