The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader with a passion for innovation and technical leadership to join our dynamic team. As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a small department of highly intelligent and capable people and outside specialist resources. You will be the fourth key member of the leadership team, making critical technical decisions for the company and driving our success for many years to come.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a diverse engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and the growth of the team.
  • Technical Decision Making: Make informed technical business decisions, communicate them clearly with the leadership team, and guide the company in the right strategic direction.
  • Project Management: Assign and direct projects to engineers, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
  • Engineering Systems: Develop and implement automated engineering systems, leveraging Inventor 3D CAD capabilities and integrating with Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Software for shop order documentation.
  • Resource Management: Successfully manage internal and external resources, demonstrating a strong capacity to leverage external resources effectively.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and ROI assessments, employing logical and data-driven approaches.
  • Compliance and Quality: Develop and implement engineering best practices and standards to drive consistency across multiple platforms and required regulatory compliance.
