Position Overview:

Long Home Products is actively looking for a Procurement Specialist with a background in Home Improvement to enhance our operations.

Compensation:
Starting pay is $23.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure precision in the evaluation, ordering, and receipt of products.
- Address all customer inquiries regarding products in a courteous and prompt manner.
- Oversee purchasing processes and workflows.
- Generate and authorize product quotes and orders with suppliers.
- Conduct follow-up calls with customers to verify specifications of agreements.
- Produce Material and Labor Purchase Orders/Contracts.
- Supervise and verify the delivery of ordered products.
- Distribute products to subcontractors and gather necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with customers to arrange installation schedules.
- Liaise with sales, service, and marketing teams for product details and descriptions.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Experience in purchasing, particularly in home improvement products, is advantageous.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Capability to manage dissatisfied customers with empathy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma required.
- A minimum of 4 years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in home improvement purchasing is preferred.
