Position Title: Senior Accountant
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and interpreting future channel inventory POS reserves and program reserves, while delivering strategic insights through sophisticated reporting and analytics. This position offers exposure to diverse business operations and collaboration across various functions and regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly and quarterly revenue closing activities, including the posting of revenue and contra revenue journal entries, as well as preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Generate precise and timely monthly and quarterly revenue reports, ensuring reconciliation between reporting tools and the general ledger, and compiling management reporting packages.
- Update historical POS and Special Pricing Authorization rates, sell-through, and channel inventory data to prepare monthly future rate tables, aiding the Business Unit Finance in determining final future rates.
- Facilitate meetings on future rate tables and lead discussions on gross margin analytics with the Business Unit Finance and Revenue teams to review inputs on future rates.
- Conduct analytical reporting for variances and assess the impact of business activities on revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales Operations, Channel Inventory POS Management, and Business Unit Finance, to enhance the efficiency of revenue reporting processes.
- Manage audit requests to support both internal management and external audits, ensuring all assigned revenue PBC deliverables are completed accurately.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in audit and corporate revenue accounting within the semiconductor or hardware technology sectors.
- Extensive experience in corporate revenue operations, particularly in rebate accounting and future channel inventory POS.
- Exceptional communication and data analysis capabilities.
- Proficient in system operations, particularly in SAP/Oracle Cloud, OBIEE, and Power Business Intelligence.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at various organizational levels.
Position Type: Contract position with a duration of 6-9 months.
Work Environment: This role follows a hybrid work schedule.
