Job Summary

The Physician Assistant provides medical care and coordinates patient care, increasing access and improving quality for patients across all disciplines in the Temple Health University System.

The Physician Assistant practices medicine on healthcare teams with physicians and other providers to improve coordination of care and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes medical histories and conducts physical exams
  • Diagnoses and treats illnesses
  • Orders and interprets tests
  • Develops treatment plans
  • Counsels on preventive care
  • Assists in surgery
  • Writes prescriptions

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant (preferred)
  • MPA-LIC - PA Medical Physician Asst Lic (required)
  • NCCPA - Certified Physician Assistant (required)

Work Schedule:

7PM-7AM (3 shifts per week or 6 shifts bi-weekly)
