About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead System Engineer to join our team at Baker Hughes Holdings LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the design and development of complex systems, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of system-level solutions, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with project management, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and safety teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions, proposals, and cost calculations for customized UT testing systems.
  • Perform design reviews on system, component, and sub-system levels, ensuring compliance with BH review processes.
  • Support on-site installation, assembly, and commissioning work to achieve final customer acceptance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to design engineers, leveraging system-level knowledge and experience.
  • Communicate effectively with global teams on technical and operational topics, enhancing China team's technical ability and global collaborations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering domains (NDT, Mechanical, Automation, Material, or relevant fields).
  • Good knowledge of NDT domain theory and application, with system-level design expertise.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and building of automatic machinery and equipment, with system engineering roles.
  • Direct development and project experience in NDT industry for big/customized UT systems is an advantage.
  • Direct experience of developing UT Immersion Tank products is an advantage.
  • Display technical leadership and influence in a multi-domain engineering team.
  • Effective communication in Chinese and English.
  • Willingness to travel and take challenges, with a sense of accountability and ownership.
