Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced surgeon to lead our pediatric heart and lung transplantation program as the Director of Pediatric Thoracic Transplantation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiothoracic surgery and a passion for advancing the field of pediatric transplantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pediatric heart and lung transplantation program
  • Develop and implement a research program in transplantation and mechanical circulatory support in pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with established laboratories within the Pediatric Heart Center
  • Represent the transplant program on all Pediatric Heart Center committees
  • Work closely with Pediatric Heart Center leadership
Requirements
  • MD or MD/PhD degree
  • Board certification/board eligibility in cardiothoracic surgery
  • Board eligibility/board certification in congenital surgery
  • Medical licensure in California
