Job DescriptionAs a cardiac cath lab technologist in interventional radiology, you will assist the physician with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures. You will work in an operating room, cardiac Cath lab or similar healthcare facility, preparing equipment, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile conditions.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures
- Prepare equipment and maintain sterile conditions
- Monitor patient vitals and assist surgeons as needed
- Care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis, or biopsies
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
