Position Overview: Under general supervision, Sales Associates offer assistance and education to patients seeking medical marijuana solutions. The role involves guiding each patient to ensure they receive the appropriate medication tailored to their specific health conditions.

Schedule: Candidates must be available to work between 20-28 hours weekly, including weekends, in alignment with dispensary operating hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all intake forms and related documentation are accurately completed and filed, entering necessary information into the designated database for future reference.
  • Verify patient purchase limits before they enter the consultation area and communicate these limits to the relevant pharmacist.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers via calls or emails regarding products, training, and general information.
  • Manage patient records utilizing the medical marijuana database.
  • Update and maintain databases as required.
  • Fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Promote and sell all products offered by The Cannabist Company.
  • Establish and uphold a high level of integrity and trust regarding specific products.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of two years of direct customer service experience is required.
  • Previous retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems is essential.
  • Proficient understanding of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.

Additional Abilities Required:

  • While performing the duties of this position, employees are required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Effective verbal communication with co-workers, customers, and vendors is essential. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
