Position Overview
SSTAR is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Housekeeper, offering 30 hours per week at a competitive rate of $16.70 per hour. The scheduled shift will be from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
The housekeeping team will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all units and SSTAR locations. Duties include:
  • Disposing of waste and emptying trash bins.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing floors through sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
  • Dusting and wiping down surfaces, adhering to biohazard protocols when necessary.
  • Restocking dispensers with essential supplies such as bleach, toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
  • Executing specific cleaning tasks as per the established cleaning schedule for designated areas.
  • Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Keeping cleaning carts organized, stocked, and in good condition.
  • Identifying and addressing safety hazards as they arise.
  • Performing spot cleaning of walls as required.
  • Filling in for absent housekeeping staff during vacations or leaves.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
  • Experience in cleaning and sanitation.
  • Reliability and dependability.
  • The physical ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Capability to perform tasks that involve repetitive bending and movement of the hands and wrists.
