Job Description

The VIP Customer Support Engineer role is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting support for break/fix issues to minimize downtime.
  • Support mission, test, event, and conference operations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot mobile devices to ensure secure and efficient communication.
  • Provide escalation and status updates to MDA customers to maintain transparency and trust.
  • Support technical projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Resolve daily battle rhythm tasks to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Track all work using the Remedy ticketing system to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide printer support to ensure seamless printing operations.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software applications to ensure secure and efficient operation.
  • Provide limited PKI support to ensure secure authentication and authorization.
  • Participate in a rotation of on-call support to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Requirements:
  • 6 years of related experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers, and/or experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting senior, and/or executive, leadership to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • A current DoD 8570 IAT level II certification (e.g. Security+, Systems Security Certified Practitioner) or obtain one within 60 days of start date.
  • Ability to lift, and carry, 25 lbs.
  • An active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
