Job Summary

The Security Officer 2 - Asset Guardian is responsible for protecting the assets and personnel of Eagle Mountain International Church Inc. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protecting designated individuals and locations from harm, harassment, and unauthorized access.
  • Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding job duties, ministry processes, and sensitive information.
  • Representing Eagle Mountain International Church Inc. in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
  • Completing and submitting incident reports as necessary.
  • Ensuring the security equipment and measures are suitable and functioning properly.
  • Conducting regular patrols of the premises and monitoring surveillance cameras.
  • Reporting suspicious behavior and safety concerns to management.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, staff, and visitors.
  • Responding to security and fire alarms, and performing building checks to ensure doors are locked and equipment is turned off.
  • Providing security for special events and maintaining security department vehicles and equipment.
  • Preparing detailed written and oral reports of daily patrol activities.
  • Administering basic first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Assisting other ministry departments as required.
  • Actively participating in security training programs and performing radio dispatcher duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • 1-4 years of experience in security, preferably in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Intermediate defensive tactics proficiency.
  • Police handgun and long gun skills proficiency.
  • Tactical emergency casualty care certification.
  • Dispatch skills proficiency.
  • Patrol skills proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Word familiarity desired.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including holidays, and maintain a good attendance record.
  • Ability to work well in stress situations and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Working Conditions
  • Required to work holidays, extended hours, and any shift needed to support the Security Department.
Other
  • Born-again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of Eagle Mountain International Church Inc.
  • Must work well with others, as a team, and maintain a good attendance record.
