Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to join our team at Blue Wave in Saint Louis, MO. As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, supervising store operations, and providing coaching and training to our sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive work environment and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Supervise the opening and closing of store at the appropriate times.
  • Oversee the day-to-day sales operation and delegate tasks to associates.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and accept full responsibility for assigned tasks and duties.
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure a clean, visually appealing, well-stocked store for all customers.
  • Assist in hiring, supervising, training, evaluating, and developing the store team.
  • Assume certain management responsibilities in the absence of the sales manager.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the sales manager.
  • Utilize strong communication skills, both written and oral, to achieve results and drive goals.

Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Comfortable standing and walking while on the job.
  • Excellent people skills, with a focus on interacting with customers on a daily basis.
  • Ability to use computers and handheld electronic devices.
  • Comfortable reporting to management and providing feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Desire to grow and coach others in a competitive and fun environment.
  • Ability to work onsite in Saint Louis, MO.
