We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Oberalp North America. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will be responsible for processing invoices, registering payments, and reconciling account discrepancies.
Main Responsibilities:- Invoice Processing: Post sales invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Bank Imports: Daily bank imports to ensure seamless reconciliation of account discrepancies.
- Payment Registration: Register and apply payments received from customers.
- EDI Invoicing: Submit invoices in the EDI portal to facilitate efficient payment processing.
- Customer Account Reconciliations: Perform regular customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Account Maintenance: Maintain customer accounts, including establishing credit limits and risk assessments.
- Credit Insurance Policy: Report and comply with credit insurance policy requirements.
- Credit Agency Reporting: Monitor and report on credit agency activities, including meeting attendance.
- Payment Processing: Process credit card payments and distribute monthly past-due account statements.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via email and phone to resolve any billing or credit-related issues.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular A/R reporting and perform routine and ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of Accounting or Accounts Receivable experience.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Navision or Business Central, is preferred.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish positive working relationships with customers. Effective time management skills, including the ability to work efficiently, prioritize projects, and be self-motivated.
