Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for patients undergoing surgery.
- Provide accurate medical record documentation and continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care.
- Correct abnormal patient responses and involve attending physicians in clinical decision-making.
- Participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives and adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Act as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary healthcare team and may serve as a mentor to new staff or students.
- Current PA RN license
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- CPR American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Previous CRNA experience
