We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Allegheny General Hospital. As a CRNA, you will provide high-quality anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement anesthetic management for patients undergoing anesthesia care.
- Provide accurate medical record documentation and continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care.
- Correct abnormal patient responses and involve attending physicians in clinical decision-making.
- Participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives and adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Act as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary healthcare team and may serve as a mentor to new staff or students.
- Current PA RN license
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- BLS certification
- Preferred: Previous CRNA experience
