Position Overview:
The Deal Desk Analyst will collaborate across various departments, including Revenue Operations, Contracts, Finance, and Legal, to deliver quoting and deal structuring assistance to the Global Revenue Team. This role will facilitate the deal process by engaging with internal teams on opportunity packaging and pricing, providing account management and deal strategy support, and effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates will possess experience in identifying and resolving issues while maintaining a high standard of customer service. We are looking for an organized, adaptable individual with a high emotional intelligence and meticulous attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for daily deal support inquiries from the revenue team.
- Generate and modify sales quotes with tailored pricing and intricate terms.
- Collaborate with the Revenue team, Management, Legal, and Finance to ensure that negotiated agreements are accurately documented and comply with Ellucian's policies.
- Prepare quotes, schedules, and amendments that reflect product upgrades, maintenance renewals, and additional services, including cumulative discounting structures, becoming the subject matter expert on Strategic/Enterprise level customer accounts.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Ellucian's pricing frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Experience handling transactions of varying complexity using a CRM or ERP system.
- A minimum of 1 year in an analytical position within Sales, Revenue, Marketing, or Finance.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions for complex pricing and licensing scenarios.
- Familiarity with Cloud and SaaS Software and Solutions is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with prior experience in modeling and analysis.
- Experience in crafting customer/prospect proposals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, innovative, and results-driven mindset.
- Experience in data analysis, modeling, or financial analysis to bolster revenue growth.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to go above and beyond; self-motivated and resourceful.
