Job Summary
The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time, temporary (adjunct) faculty position in Spanish. Adjunct positions are filled as needed through ongoing recruitment. Applicants are contacted and hired year-round based on college needs.

As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean, helping students master course content, assessing student learning outcomes, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of your teaching field. You will also be expected to continue professional development, utilize current technology, and adhere to professional conduct and ethics standards.

The instructional assignment may encompass teaching courses across all levels in Spanish. Specific courses offered may vary by campus. To view a complete list of courses for each discipline, please visit the Programs and Majors webpage specific to each campus.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a master's degree in Spanish or a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a master's degree in another language or linguistics. You must also have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
