Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including those receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and transplantation.
  • Develops and implements individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitors patient progress and adjusts care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participates in educational programs to maintain current knowledge and skills in oncology and related areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
