Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Relationship Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial customers, providing them with tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management: Reach and maintain your target portfolio size within a specified time frame, ensuring the overall quality and longevity of our commercial customers' relationships with the bank.
- Prospecting and Sales: Call prospects who are potentially profitable to the bank, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to acquire new customers.
- Customer Service: Always maintain the best interest of both the bank and customers in all matters, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customer needs are met.
- Collaboration and Communication: Develop an efficient working relationship with Concurrence and the Small Business Loan Center for loan requests, closely monitoring the assigned loan portfolio for any deterioration in repayment ability.
- Training and Development: Advise, teach, and train associate relationship managers on how to best serve our customers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Education and Experience: Formal credit training or 2-3 years lending experience, with a strong understanding of commercial banking and financial services.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
