Role Summary:

The Financial Consultant is an essential part of our customer-facing team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our members. This role involves executing member transactions, initiating new accounts, and suggesting customized products and services tailored to individual financial goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with Thrive Credit Union members to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Accurately and efficiently process member transactions.
  • Inform new and existing members about the advantages and features of Thrive's products and services.
  • Facilitate the opening of both personal and business accounts.
  • Develop expertise in all lending products and services offered by Thrive.
  • Understand the procedures for loan applications, processing, and disbursement.
  • Engage with members individually to assess their financial needs and connect them with appropriate resources.
  • Respond promptly to member inquiries and proactively resolve issues in a courteous manner, whether in person, over the phone, or through electronic communication.
  • Provide financial guidance to members to support budgeting and overall financial health.
  • Exhibit exemplary customer service behaviors while adhering to operational standards.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete daily responsibilities, demonstrating respect and professionalism towards all employees and members.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy, are vital for this role.
  • Availability to work the required schedule across multiple locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in PC and internet usage.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
