Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of menu items, including acai bowls, smoothies, and salads, using high-quality ingredients and following proper food safety procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, including washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, and restocking supplies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certification: Obtain and maintain food safety certification to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Demonstrate basic computer skills, including operating a point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes, and move quickly to meet the demands of a fast-paced cafe environment.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
Compensation

$8.00 - $10.00 per hour
