Job Overview

As the Sales Operations Leader, you will take charge of the organizational framework, expansion, initiatives, recruitment, and daily functions of the sales division. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the sales department
  • Possess a clear understanding of the sales cycle, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries
  • Proactively identify, develop, and expand new client accounts
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients
  • Respond promptly to incoming sales requests and customer service inquiries
  • Utilize CRM tools for business prospecting and strategic information tracking
  • Follow up on potential leads in a timely manner
  • Conduct employee recruitment, performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations
  • Establish and oversee training requirements and schedules
  • Provide support and direction to meet departmental goals and customer expectations

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • A minimum of four years of experience in inside sales, with a focus on relationship building and goal achievement
  • At least two years of experience in a managerial role
  • Two years of experience and a general understanding of heavy machinery, particularly excavators, is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong active listening and information gathering abilities
