We are seeking a highly skilled CEI Inspector to join our team at DRMP. As a CEI Inspector, you will be responsible for performing complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
Key Responsibilities- Field Surveying and Construction Layout: Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations.
- Construction Work Inspection: Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Field Testing: Conduct field tests to verify the accuracy of dimensions and levels of construction activity/layout.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors, and work with contractors' field personnel and utility owners.
- Documentation: Prepare and document project field books, density log books, and material sampling and testing reports.
- Education: High School Graduate plus minimum of 4 years of DOT roadway and/or bridge construction experience.
- Certifications: CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I, CTQP Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector (CTCI) Level II, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I & II, CTQP Earthwork Level I & II, CTQP Pile Driving Inspection, CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection, Intermediate MOT, CTQP Final Estimates Level I, Nuclear Radiation Safety, and Critical Structures Construction Issues, Self-Study Course.
- Skills: Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
