Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced CEI Senior Project Engineer to join our CEI Team in Central Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing CEI projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida Turnpike Enterprise, and/or local municipalities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex CEI projects, ensuring effective communication and coordination with stakeholders
- Direct and manage a team of engineers and inspectors, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement policies, methods, and procedures to ensure project success
- Review and approve programs for conformance with Department of Transportation standards
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to identify new opportunities
- Civil Engineering degree and six years of engineering experience, with two years in relevant transportation projects
- Master's Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one year of engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida, with ability to obtain endorsement in six months if registered in another state
- FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification
- CTQP Quality Control Manager certification
- Experience with Project Solve SharePoint (PSSP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MAC, and AASHTO Project Construction (PrC)
