Job Summary

The Welder position at Steel Tech Building Systems is a key role in our manufacturing process. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding steel components to meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weld steel components according to shop prints and specifications
  • Operate cranes and other equipment to rotate beams and move materials
  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished work meets job specifications and Steel Tech standards
  • Track and resolve issues, quantities, and wins
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop prints
  • Skilled in operating tools, machinery, and welding equipment
  • Ability to understand IAS/AWS standards and procedures
  • Ability to plan ahead and work independently
