Welder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Steel Tech Building Systems. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for welding steel components to meet our high standards of quality and safety.

• Weld steel components according to shop prints and technical specifications
• Operate cranes and other heavy machinery to rotate beams and move materials
• Perform back-gouging and quality control checks to ensure finished work meets job specifications
• Track and resolve issues, quantities, and wins
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in operating tools, machinery, and welding equipment
• Ability to understand and apply IAS/AWS standards and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high energy and focus
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field
