Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LPN-Expanded II to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care as directed by the professional registered nurse and take ownership of your actions under their direction.
  • Administer intravenous therapy according to state board of nursing rules, regulations, and position statements.
  • Develop and maintain a caring relationship with patients, facilitating health and healing while preserving and protecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
  • Collaborate with professional registered nurses to communicate and coordinate patient care.
  • Collect and analyze patient data to inform care decisions.
  • Assist in planning and implementing patient care as directed.
  • Participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for education, licensure, and experience as outlined below.
Requirements, Preferences, and Experience
  • Education: Meet the minimum IV therapy training requirements according to the state board of nursing.
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: Hold a current LPN license and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Special Skills: Possess computer literacy and excellent communication skills.
