Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a VAD Coordinator in our Heart Transplant Clinic. As a key member of our transplant team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients through the transplant process.

Responsibilities
  • Performs pre-transplant and post-transplant clinical activities, including patient education and coordination of care.
  • Educates patients and their families on transplant procedures and post-transplant care.
  • Collaborates with the transplant team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participates in quality initiatives and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provides exceptional patient care and advocacy, promoting patient independence and self-care.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • 3 years of related experience with RN Diploma or RN Associate Degree, or 2 years of related experience with a BS Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred: Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) through the American Board of Transplant Certification (ABTC).
