Opportunity Overview
We are expanding our Adult Congenital Heart program, established in 2005, and are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist with a specialization in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. This position offers the chance to work alongside a team of 3 congenital heart surgeons, 2 pediatric cardiologists, and specialists in adult congenital heart disease.
Collaborative Environment
Our active adult heart transplant program is supported by 6 cardiologists specializing in adult orthotopic heart transplant and LVAD. The Department of Cardiology comprises over 80 cardiologists, practicing across multiple community locations and our academic medical center.
Educational Opportunities
Ochsner Health System is affiliated with two medical schools, providing ample opportunities for teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. Our ACGME accredited training programs in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology allow for engagement in clinical research.
