OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, presents exceptional full-time, part-time, or contingent employment opportunities for Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalists to become part of a prominent multi-specialty group.

We are in search of Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to integrate into a large hospitalist team. This team comprises over 70 hospitalists alongside more than 20 midlevel providers. We are looking for associates who will enhance our culture of collaboration, compassion, and professionalism while advocating for patients and addressing the needs of the healthcare facility.

Candidates interested in full-time roles can anticipate working approximately 192 shifts annually, with ten-hour shifts that may include afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Most providers operate on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Patient Census: The average patient census is around 14-16 patients per physician each shift. The ICU is managed with an Intensivist available during specific hours.

This is a remarkable opportunity for the right physicians to be part of a well-established and expanding hospitalist group.
