Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Program Scheduler to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply scheduling theory to create and maintain a resource-loaded IMS schedule as the basis for the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) in compliance with EVM standard EIA-748 and best practices.
  • Implement program scheduling business rhythms, develop baseline schedules, and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitor, analyze, and report performance against baseline schedules.
  • Work closely with the functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies, and inter-dependencies with related projects.
  • Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
  • Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle, and other project events.
  • Set and maintain the baseline schedule and track all changes to the baselined schedule on a weekly basis.
  • Perform 'what if' scenarios within the schedule.
  • Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure they are followed during the development and maintenance of schedules.
  • Perform schedule estimating through elicitation of team members and other stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals, and remaining work.
  • Champion and support continuous Risk Mitigation and Issue Management through schedule analysis.
  • Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of project analysis experience, which must include Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) experience.
  • Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling theory and related best-practices (e.g., PASEG), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based).
  • Proven working knowledge of Critical Path.
  • Proven working knowledge of implementing and managing a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule to provide the basis for the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) time-phased budget and estimate to complete cost Schedule Status/Forecast Management/Business Rhythms.
  • Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management.
  • Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working on Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) initiatives.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Scheduling Professional (SP) certification.
  • Experience using tools like Microsoft Project Web App (PWA), Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project, OPDEC Integrated Program Manager (IPM), Deltek Cobra, Deltek CostPoint, and other Scheduling and EVMS tools.
  • Advanced Excel skill set including Power BI, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables.
